Sunday morning is a time where we have the privilege to gather together as believers to worship the God of all grace. The Bible says that Jesus Christ himself, makes us able to worship God and leads us in that worship .
It is our hope that you will leave the worship service with a greater sense of who God is, what he has done, and what difference he makes in your life. We also hope that this will be a time of spiritual refreshment, and fellowship with other believers.
If you do not consider yourself a Christian, we invite you to come and learn what the Bible teaches about God and to meet people in your community who have a desire to share the love of Christ with all people.
We meet for worship on Sunday mornings at the Calera Middle School - 9178 County Road 22, Montevallo, AL 35007.
Sunday school begins at 9:45, and corporate worship is at 10:45. Nursery is available.
The Bible instructs us to teach sound doctrine. Therefore, the purpose of our Sunday School program is to provide instruction on what the Bible teaches. Far more than moral lessons and flannel-graphs, the design of the Sunday School lesson is to teach the gospel and its implications in all of life in an interactive setting. From small children to adults, we hope that all people will find this time useful for growing in your knowledge of the Scriptures and for getting to know one another better.
The Children’s Sunday School director is Amy Windsor. For more information or if you have any questions please Click Here and select Sunday School.

"And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age,’" Matthew 28:18-20.
We exist as a visible representation of the invisible, spiritual Kingdom of God. Our first purpose is to worship God. Our second purpose is to see the gospel message proclaimed in our community and around the world so that more people will become worshippers. This second purpose is really just an extension of the first. To this end, Cornerstone has a strong emphasis on local and worldwide missions. We not only direct a significant amount of our budget to missions, but actually put our theology into practice by participating in local mercy ministry and mission trips.
Cornerstone Church currently supports the following missionaries and church planters:
